God is Love.
Love. That word is everywhere for me this week. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 it says,” Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” That kind of Love ONLY comes from knowing Jesus. That kind of true Love can heal a broken heart, can repair a damaged marriage, can bring back that prodigal son or daughter.
That is the kind of Love I want in everything I say and do. The relationships that I have with my family and friends. “Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Psalm 51:10
